Reason for Contact: Getting a Free Evaluation

Hi we put in a deposit for our wedding to a local venue called la Chanterelle in January and with pandemic we are unable to have the wedding we wanted as it was scheduled for July 10. We didn’t do any planning with them because of the pandemic so I asked for a refund because we want to get married soon and start a family but they refused. Obviously they have a refund policy and they said we can use the deposit to an event in the future but we didn’t want to do that. After about a month emailing back and forth and offering them to keep 15%, they finally offered 50% back but we want our full deposit. They don’t have a force majeure clause in the contract so wondering what we can do if anything to get our money back.
